Stir, add frozen fruit, and nuke for 2 more minutes:

Stir again, cut strawberries in half, nuke for another 1-1.5 mins:

Add sprinkle of natural sugar and stir.

Did you get this recipe from George Jetson’s kitchen?

Better living through SCIENCE! :happyanim:

There is a tedious and time intensive process as well, I just couldn't find my Land Camera to document it properly (and I sold my typewriter).

Oats, fruit, and nuts added to a pan of boiling water. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Point out the parts that are tedious and time intensive. You can’t reference the ten minutes it takes you longer than that to prepare for a bike ride.

I'm going to keep trying, for the foreseeable future, putting 1 cup of steel cut oatmeal, 1.75 - 2 cups of water, 1 cup of milk, 1/2 tsp of cinnamon, and a dash of salt in an Instant Pot, set it for 3 min at high pressure - It takes about 5 min to get there, then a 15 min natural pressure release.  That's three breakfasts - two thirds of it refrigerated then nuked later.

It doesn't take much less time than on the stovetop, but you don't have to watch it, stir, etc.

You can add a peeled/cored/diced up apple to it before pressure cooking or, to be more firm, nuke it with 1/4 cup of water.  Top with various fruits and syrup or honey.

Oh, for goodness sake!

We've got all these autonomous trains, planes, and automobiles, but our simpleton microwaves still need someone to push the button after button after button for the simplest of tasks!
