I thought this was going to be  about a C&W singer, but, dang, it might have turned out even cuter!

Same here. Our doggie door is made for dogs around 50 pounds.

Our 70 lb blackmouth cur and our chiweenie use the same size door, which is just right for our 20 lb mutt Romeo

When we bought our place the previous owners left the doggie door.  Over time the flap broke so I replaced it. However the only replacement door I could find was smaller than the old one.

When I installed it I was getting my Aussie accustomed to it by going outside, closing the slider then calling her.  The first time she looked at the small trap door and then looked at me through the glass.  It was the dude, seriously you expect me to crawl through that look???

I just told her it was the only one they had, c’mon you can do it…  She did but it did require some bending & arching to do so.

My Aussie was the most amazing dog ever, I miss her every day.
