Larry and Jerry crossed a lot of previously taboo lines for network TV, but never the fart line.

Just to name a few, they discussed and made fun of masturbation, penis size (shrinkage), nose picking, ménage à trois, unsanitary post-pooping habits by restaurant employees (Poppy), Poppy peeing on Jerry's sofa, unbelievably bad body odor, and to top it off, even the big one itself, death (Susan).

But during nine full seasons, nary a mention of a slight gas leak...
