JerrySTL ★ Posted November 29, 2021 Share #4 Posted November 29, 2021 I have two Brooks B19s and after a few thousand miles, they are broken in. However that one looks painful. Needs more duct tape for sure. The chain is a nice touch though. 2
Rattlecan ★ Posted November 29, 2021 Share #5 Posted November 29, 2021 A few turns of the tensioning bolt and about ten pounds of Proofide and it will be good as new 2

shootingstar Posted January 12 Share #8 Posted January 12 I knew a regular cyclist who did swear by their Brooks saddle.. curious if anyone here did have and use a Brooks saddle?
Dottleshead ★ Posted January 12 Share #9 Posted January 12 I've had a Brooks for years. If you're into long distance riding, I highly recommend them -- even though leather here in the PNW isn't always the best option because of the rain. Before my fat ass would easily cover it in a torrential downpour. I may have to be more careful in the near future.

I forgot this thread, but I was scrolling down to make a proofide post and see that I already made a proofide post. I feel like Dr. Mickin and his soy sauce.
