I am so sorry to hear this, but it definitely sounds like you are making the right decision.  I gave chemo treatments to my second cat.  They started out to help with some symptoms and improve her quality of life, but after the fact I realized they went on too long and didn't help her quality of life.  I fear I wasn't ready to say good bye.  This is heart breaking, but I admire your commitment to doing what is best for Ryan.
