The firm I started with last month does a lot of bike/ped improvements and I'm going to get to work on a lot of these! I was in Metuchen, NJ (pronounced 'meh-TOUCH-en') and I rode the bike around town getting a feel for how we can improve a ped-bike connection between the "Middlesex Greenway" - a ~4-mile long paved multi-use path connecting to Edison and Woodbridge - and the train station. It seemed appropriate. It's been ages since I locked my bike to a bike rack - I crossed my fingers and used my old U-lock; thankfully no one had a Bic pen. (I was surprised I was able to find both the lock and the key this morning) Correcting for some round-off errors my YTD total is 1238 - should get at least another 15 in tomorrow, still shooting for 1300. I pumped it up again and it was flat before I got back on the bike! Hadn’t had a flat on that bike in over 2 years. Forgot to put the spare tube in my pickup this morning.
