Popular Post Gump Posted January 8, 2022 Popular Post Share #1 Posted January 8, 2022 We got about 8-10 inches of snow this week so was hoping to ski today. Instead i grabbed my snowshoes and headed for the woods. Covered about 5.5 miles total. Good for the soul and the mind. Now I could use a nap😁 3
Longjohn ★ Posted January 8, 2022 Share #2 Posted January 8, 2022 Snowshoes are a necessary evil with deep snow but I hate walking in them. Five miles would wear me out.

We got 7-`0" in two storms with enough sunny days in between and after to melt the snow off the roads and trails. We're supposed to have a few days in the coming week with highs in the upper 30's to low 40's where I'll take Jake for the 40 min+ walks needed to trigger the greater sysnthesis of biochemicals that will transport and burn fat - otherwise my weight-losing diet will burn carbs, including muscle tissue. Zealot Posted January 9, 2022 Share #7 Posted January 9, 2022 Awesome! We got snow as well, but recovering this weekend. It would have been nice to break the snowshoes or cross country skis out.
