ChrisL Posted January 10, 2022 Share #6 Posted January 10, 2022 I’m finding a rhythm with my diabeties med. I give myself an injection weekly, every Friday morning. It seems Ozempic shuts down my hunger and I really can’t over eat. But on Thursdays I get hungry and am able to eat more than usual. I guess the meds are waning in my system. But by Friday afternoon my hunger is shut down again.

At 5 pm I finished off the last of the Saturday Family Dinner stuffed cabbage - maybe 3 ounces of meat with a lot of tomato sauce, onions, tomatoes, and cabbage. accompanied by pierogies. I'm done with Polish food for a while: Chicken Soup is next followed by shrimp + pasta. I talked to a cousin from NE Pennsylvania last night about getting back to eating my Haddock, nice 3/4" thick fish fillets - it's $12.99 to $18.99/lb in our seaport city, but she complained it went from $5.99 to $7.99 up in the mountains of PA.
