The wife subscribes to NYT.  

I'm looking for something that gives a somewhat unbiased view of current events.  I feel unbiases isn't possible

I read mostly ABC News online and BBC News - US & Canada.  BBC News is a lot less biased than American news is and tends to give more balanced stories.
