Popular Post Longjohn ★ Posted January 16, 2022 Popular Post Share #1 Posted January 16, 2022 I wondered what that might be. It was hand addressed and I opened it and it had a little slip of paper with the results of my blood work. She made a note at the bottom that said excellent. I already new that because I saw it online. She must have wanted to make sure I saw it. I don’t think I can take much credit for that. I’m real careful what I eat and eat a lot of tasteless food but I also take Crestor every day and I think it makes everyone’s numbers come out good even if they eat crap. 4
JerrySTL ★ Posted January 16, 2022 Share #2 Posted January 16, 2022 When I talked to my cardiologist, I give credit to modern medicine for my cholesterol and blood pressure numbers.

I don’t take anything for blood pressure. They put me on two blood pressure drugs in August and almost killed me. My blood pressure today was 100/61. I don’t need it lower than that. I’ve heard that half of the graduates from med school were below average and I believe it. 2 1

Well actually about 16 hours. I was so hungry after the blood draw I went next door and bought a donut. Don’t tell anyone. 🤪 1
Dottleshead ★ Posted January 16, 2022 Share #8 Posted January 16, 2022 When you are getting snail mail through the postal office from your cardiologist -- that almost never is a bad thing. Unless it's a bill!
MickinMD ★ Posted January 16, 2022 Share #9 Posted January 16, 2022 I have planned on cremation but friends have said I should be buried so they can dig my body up in the future and do a DNA test to find out why my total, HDL, and LDL cholesterol are excellent no matter what I eat. My father was the same despite an awful diet, though my brother and sister didn't inherit the gene(s) responsible.
