Randomguy Posted January 22, 2022 Share #1 Posted January 22, 2022 I would put in a foot-activated sink, or maybe a motion activated something or other, soap, too. Last night I coated some veggies and a small pork tenderloin with some oil, which was now on my hands. So now I have to turn on the faucet with oily hands, which always feels kind of gross to me. This happens a few times a week, such as when I make pizza. So anyway, that'd be on my list. No hoods, though, why the hell would you need one?
dinneR ★ Posted January 22, 2022 Share #2 Posted January 22, 2022 My GF has the motion activated faucet. POS. Sometimes, we're in the living room and you can here it turn on. Sometimes you can turn it on with a wave, but not off. Frustrating as hell. You need one that is thought controlled.

Square Wheels Posted January 22, 2022 Share #4 Posted January 22, 2022 We have a motion activated faucet in the kitchen. It works perfectly.
Dirtyhip Posted January 22, 2022 Share #5 Posted January 22, 2022 Our motion activated faucet works great. If I am leaving the in the am I can not have my garbage jacket on. It turns on and off the faucet. It is funny how it does that at work. People become shocked that the water fountain will just start to run by itself. 😎 …and only a monster wouldn’t want a fancy hood with an overkill vent fan. 1
Dirtyhip Posted January 22, 2022 Share #6 Posted January 22, 2022 In regards to the soap, put a dispenser with a push top. Use your wrist to dispense the soap. The soap should be homemade, of course.
Ralphie ★ Posted January 22, 2022 Share #7 Posted January 22, 2022 I can;t think of any killer feature I would want in a kitchen. I am a cheap date. Maybe an automated compost chute.

But it is really motion activated sink because the motion of your foot pressing down on the pedal activates the sink.
