Popular Post Longjohn ★ Posted February 4, 2022 Popular Post Share #1 Posted February 4, 2022 I’ve been home all day. Not playing any music and I don’t watch tv. I was going to go out and bring in some wood but when I opened the door the snow was 16” up the door. I shoveled the first three feet and then went out to the garage to get the snow blower. Someone had plowed a path all the way from the road to 10’ from my garage. I never heard anyone out there. I looked for tire tracks because whatever they plowed with must have had tires. I couldn’t see any tire tracks. The last time the mystery plowman used a bobcat with aggressive tires. This seemed to be plowed with a V plow because the snow was pushed to both sides of the driveway. i widened the path he made with my snow blower. It sounds like I’m blowing rocks because of the thick ice layer about four or five inches from the bottom. Making a path to the wood shed wore me out. The tires didn’t have enough grip to push into that deep of snow. I had to keep backing up and ramming into it. Once I made one pass I could just take half the width of the snow blower and it ran fine. I hope it stops snowing pretty soon. 10 3

Longjohn ★ Posted February 5, 2022 Author Share #5 Posted February 5, 2022 My neighbor across the road plows his roadways with a team of horses pulling a plow. I’m guessing that’s a photoshop one horse would have enough trouble pulling a plow let alone pushing a plow while pulling a buggy. Some of those Amish are pretty good at photoshop. 1

That might have been a magical V plow. That’s why I didn’t find tracks

I guess if he backed the team up the driveway and then dropped the plow as it plowed the drive it would erase the tracks. I think you helped me solve the mystery. I think Andy Byler plowed my drive. That’s why I didn’t hear it. I’ll have to take a closer look at his pull behind plow and see if he has one going each way.
Longjohn ★ Posted February 5, 2022 Author Share #9 Posted February 5, 2022 If I hadn’t seen my neighbor back a hay wagon up the ramp and into his barn with a team of horses I would have thought he never could have backed his horses up my driveway. 2
