JerrySTL ★ Posted February 13, 2022 Share #1 Posted February 13, 2022 Not the Seinfeld kind. Quite the opposite. You might remember last October I had to cut short my annual Katy Trail ride because our washing machine overflowed ruining flooring and carpeting in a few rooms. Well today I notice that the new washing machine is doing everything in hot water. When I pulled out some exercise clothes out of the washer set to cold that they were hot. The next load of laundry did the same. I checked that the cold water was coming out to the end of the washer hose and when I shut off the hot water valve, the washing machine stopped filling. Hopefully they can get out a repairman soon. I'm betting that some of those exercise clothes will fit a bit tighter.

You, sir, are a genius! They just replaced the ruined flooring two days ago and had pulled out the washer. They reversed the connections when putting it back. 2 1 3

Kzoo Posted February 13, 2022 Share #8 Posted February 13, 2022 Probably a broken water valve. They commonly stick either all hot or all cold. It’s an easy fix

That guy in that picture has a different problem, and I think 'Viagra overdose' might be closer to the problem as opposed to 'broken water valve'.
