Agree, letting fresh air in feels nice The best times are when I can have a window cracked overnight
ChrisL Posted February 20, 2022 Share #5 Posted February 20, 2022 Mine pretty much stays open year round for Jack. But when it dips to 43 degrees we close up and run heat!
bikeman564™ Posted February 20, 2022 Share #6 Posted February 20, 2022 @petitepedalI've had my door-wall cracked open several inches, for a couple hours temp in the house hasn't dropped.
smudge ★ Posted February 20, 2022 Share #7 Posted February 20, 2022 We are at camp and HoSmudge has the window up in the screen door. That's because he has a wood stove that puts out too much heat in here. Ha!! The shed is at a balmy 62° downstairs which means it's probably 67° in the loft. Oh!! And I have brand new flannel sheets to sleep in tonight!
Kirby Posted February 21, 2022 Share #8 Posted February 21, 2022 Is the door open so the bunnies can come in and get away from the snow?
smudge ★ Posted February 21, 2022 Share #9 Posted February 21, 2022 Hee hee. It's actually the squirrels who visit me in the shed. Hmm, I haven't slept in the loft for a while; I wonder if any squirrels are living in the "apartment"? The bunnies are pretty much across the road in the swamp. Went for my hike/snowshoe, and I saw a few snowshoe rabbit tracks. And some fox tracks. And I thing ferret tracks ??
