Very cool.  I made this desk lamp.  The post is a blower drive shaft for Detroit Diesel.  The base is a plug, also for DDC.   We made these at work years ago, and thought they'd make a nice lamp.

Thanks. We made these at work years go to. Inlet for a turbo. Again Detroit Diesel. It's amazing how big parts for a Diesel engine. Make regular car parts look like toys

Tried doing that with a Holley 850 double pumper. City told me to knock it off! Messing with their transformers!

Somewhere in my basement is a lamp very similar to this one.  My lamp would need a new lamp shade.  A guy at work would use old junk electric meters for the lamps.  The meter would still work.

This is a cool table a guy in Boca Raton made.  The fan is from a Harriers engine.  Yes, It does bother me that it spins the wrong way.
