Maybe I am alone in thinking it is funny that it went right on the lid. This was deliberate.
Parsnip Totin Jack ★ Posted March 1, 2022 Share #6 Posted March 1, 2022 Poop should go into the septic tank not on top of it. Maybe you need to post signs there on Xanadu. 1
donkpow Posted March 1, 2022 Share #7 Posted March 1, 2022 1 minute ago, Dirtyhip said: C'mon, help. Animal identity? Pick it up and sift through it to see what the animal is eating. Skunks eat bugs. Raccoons eat anything including seeds, etc. You'll want to measure the diameter to get an idea of the size of the anus of the animal in question. Good luck. Kzoo Posted March 1, 2022 Share #10 Posted March 1, 2022 Or raccoon. A possum isn't smart enough to know where to poop.

The raccoons and the possums are the cleanup crew that eat all the cat food off the back deck that the feral cats leave behind. I have seen them both out there at night. I don’t know which one poops on the deck but I find poop that looks like that occasionally. I had a pet raccoon as a teenager and his poop didn’t look like that so I think possum.

Tizeye Posted March 1, 2022 Share #16 Posted March 1, 2022 I just got back delivering a stool sample to the lab and greeted by this! I had extra room in the sample cup and could have thrown this in to help you dispose of it. Would be an interesting report back from the lab when they analyzed it!
