Or.. it was just a supply chain problem? Me... I figured 'fat Tuesday' was a reminder I'm already fat enough... I had none.

Kirby Posted March 2, 2022 Share #5 Posted March 2, 2022 None. I saw a grocery store display, but they only had cream and lemon with powder. The raspberry ones were glazed and the glazed looked a little icky

maddmaxx ★ Posted March 2, 2022 Share #15 Posted March 2, 2022 Here they are sold in my LGS as Paczki for most of February ending yesterday. I didn't buy any this week as we have had for a month already. We might have some more on Pulaski Day.

smudge ★ Posted March 2, 2022 Share #19 Posted March 2, 2022 I had two. 🙈 I blame my coworker. We had two dozen there, so she said we had to have two. Huron Mountain Bakery in Marquette made 16,400 and figured they might have 100 left over. Sheesh!! 1

MickinMD ★ Posted March 2, 2022 Share #22 Posted March 2, 2022 I didn't eat any - I didn't see any in the supermarket that usually carries such stuff. A month ago, they had the German Fastnacht donuts - basically square-shaped glazed donuts without a hole. They were $7.99 for 12 small ones. I tried them but I wasn't impressed. Fastnacht Day was also Shrove Tuesday, but I didn't buy any more.

It's spelled paczki (and nice Irish word ) and pronounced (POONCH-kee). I've also heard people incorrectly pronounce it (POOCH-kee). Now that you are armed with that info you can buy a box of them for your office next year and have a couple. 1
