Sad to hear. Give her a ton of love and as much ear scratching and belly rubbing as she wants!

We are going to Georgia in a few weeks so I give her hours of belly rubs and cuddling as she wants

It's always so hard when our beloved animal companions are sick.  They really find a way into our hearts. But it  looks like she's lucky to have such a great family and people who will do the best they can for her and fill all her days with love.

I am sorry but also happy she had all those good days after her surgery.

Mona was rescued from death row at a shelter in Georgia almost 12 years ago and had a pretty good life. We think that she was about 1 1/2 years old when she was rescued.

That's wonderful....

The last dog we rescued a little more than 2 years ago.  Parker (a Jack Russel) was estimated to be 12 at the time.  So we have a 14 year old dog, with no teeth.

Bella our Beagle was 1 or 2 days away from leaving death row.   At the end of April she will be with us for 5 years, so she would be about 6 years old.

Parker and Bella with Santa.
