View the full article Sure, when adversity hit the British in 1940, her husband Joe Kennedy was Ambassador to the UK and made sure that medical supplies that were supposed to be shipped to the UK from the USA were replaced on the few convoy ships getting through by the booze he sold through lucrative contracts, guaranteeing him prosperity.
