Free bracket contests with prizes for the men’s and women’s NCAA basketball tournaments!

All are potentially winnable even if you don’t follow college basketball, thanks to the brackets posted online and insights by experts before the tournaments begin that you can go by.  The CBS Tournaments randomly select a winner from the top 10% entries for the men’s and the women’s tournaments and randomly select a winner of a $45K automobile from all the entries of both the men’s and women’s games.

After the NCAA tournament teams are selected on March 13, I’ll post sites with tips on picking your brackets.

The teams playing in the men’s and women’s NCAA basketball tournaments will be selected on March 13.

The deadline for entering these most of these bracket games is noon March 17 for the men’s tournament and noon March 18 for the women’s tournament.

 

1A. ESPN Men’s Tournament Challenge

Prize: $100,000, one winner randomly selected from the 6 round winners

Max entries per person: 25, you can increase your chances by varying your entry brackets!

At the end of each round of the Men's NCAA Tournament (Round of 64, Round of 32, Sweet Sixteen, Elite 8, Final Four, Championship Game) the top scoring individual entries from that round will be added to an overall sweepstakes pool that will be drawn at the end of the tournament. From the pool of entries accumulated throughout the tournament who meet the above criteria a single winner for the $100,000 Grand Prize will be selected.

2A. CBS 2022 NCAA Men’s Bracket Challenge

Prize: $6000 plus 4 tickets to the Semi-Finals and Finals of the 2023 Final Four, one winner randomly selected from the top 10% of finalists

Max entries per person: 3

Men's Challenge will consist of four (4) tickets* to the Final Four® games of the 2023 NCAA® Division I Men's College Basketball Tournament*, which include entry into the Semi-Finals and Final games, and Six Thousand Dollars (US$6,000.00) in cash toward hotel accommodations and transportation to the 2023 tournament city. Money portion of the Men's Bracket Challenge Grand Prize is to be awarded via the CBSSports.com Wallet. Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of the Men's Bracket Challenge Grand Prize is Ten Thousand Dollars (US$10,000.00). The Grand Prize will be awarded to a randomly selected Participant who is among the top ten percent (10%) of point scorers in the Men's Challenge.

2C. CBS Sports Men's Bracket Challenge and CBS Sports Women's Bracket Challenge Combined Grand Prize

Participants that that enter both the Men's Challenge and the Women's Bracket Challenge game and meet all eligibility requirements will be entered into a random drawing to win the combined grand prize ("Combined Grand Prize") which consists of one (1) Nissan Frontier* (ARV $45,500.00) and one (1) Pop-A-Shot game (ARV $10,000.00). ARV of the Combined Grand Prize is Fifty-Five Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($50,500.00).

Prize: $25,000 plus Las Vegas Getaway for 2 to top scoring bracket

The Contest is conducted as an “overlay game” using the tournament brackets Players may create in connection with Yahoo’s separate, free “Yahoo Fantasy Tourney Pick ’Em 2022” game (the "Basic Game"). In the Basic Game, users are invited to create up to ten (10) free tournament brackets (each, a “Basic Game Bracket”) in which they predict the winners of the 63 games (excluding the four "play-in games") comprising the 2022 NCAA Division I Men’s College Basketball Tournament (the “Tournament"). While there are no prizes offered in connection with the Basic Game, users who fully comply with all eligibility and other requirements of these Official Rules may also choose to participate in the Contest by entering one of their ten (10) Basic Game brackets in the Contest for a chance to win the Grand Prize.

The verified player whose single, validly submitted Contest Bracket that: (i) was designated by the Player for participation in the Contest; and (ii) receives the highest score (using Yahoo's Default Scoring formula; see https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN6654.html; referred to in these Rules as the “Default Scoring Formula”) among all valid Contest Brackets properly submitted for participation in the Contest; will be deemed the Grand Prize Winner and will receive twenty five thousand dollars ($25,000) and a Las Vegas getaway (including hotel accommodations) for winner and one (1) guest (21 years of age or older) valued at $10,000 (awarded as MGM Resort credits subject to MGM Resorts’ credit-related requirements) (the “Grand Prize”).
