BR46 Posted March 11 Share #1 Posted March 11 Mona was put down this morning. Her cancer came back and her health declined rapidly. She has not eaten or drank anything in the last 3 or 4 days. She couldn't walk and barely respond when you talked to her or touched her so it was time. 9

Wo46 and I both got a little weepy with our son called us and gave us the news. Mona spent many days with Wo46 and I traveling in the motorhome to different races and dog sitting when we was out of town for work. We were going Georgia this weekend and we were hoping that we would be able to spend a few days with her.

Airehead Posted March 11 Share #10 Posted March 11 I am so sorry. Their lives are never long enough. She was a very cool dog and I am sure everyone who loved her has many memories.
Randomguy Posted March 11 Share #11 Posted March 11 I am sorry to hear it. I still have dreams with my dog in them from time to time, and she passed in 2006. She is happy in my dreams, I am sure Mona will be happy in yours, too.
