Yardwork Weather

Looks like I can get an early start to Spring yardwork this year.  I see the grass growing, so mowing the lawn isn't far behind.

Besides mowing, the first thing is to clear some brush where a fence will go.  Second is to put some cement where needed along the sidewalk.  Third is to make two 12' x 4' raised beds for veggies.

But today, Jake and I are going to walk in a park a check out a "Dog Beach" where he can swim in May.

We are still under snow here but it is supposed to hit 50°for a high today. I’ll believe it when I see it. I was supposed to meet someone for a trail ride today but the trail is still snow covered.

Our guys seem to work year-round.  When they're not cutting grass and edging, they might be doing tree work or snow removal.  At least now, they can do it comfortably!

Took the fat bike out yesterday for an out & back. While riding back the snow was already melting.

Nice.

I avoid doing too much brush work until it is over 50F at night.  Bees and critters might be nesting in it.

That won't be for a while here.   Most of the snow melted.  This week will take the rest of the snow.

The ground is still frozen.   It's starting to thaw, which will take a while.
