Finally gonna look like right temple

No doubt many examples of this architectural mixture  --worldwide.  When we were Kyoto, Japan, at an outdoor site near downtown, I got a little confused when I wasn 't sure we were walking on Shinto or Buddhist grounds.  Then read history plaque which said this spot used to be Shinto then became Buddhist. Not that I  know lots about those 2 religions. But I knew  bright red arches were at least Shinto not Buddhist.  Once you understand what you are looking at, then history becomes more interesting/meaningful.
