MickinMD ★ Posted March 16, 2022 Share #1 Posted March 16, 2022 The Senate unanimously approved a measure Tuesday that would make daylight saving time permanent across the United States next year. The bipartisan bill, named the Sunshine Protection Act, would ensure Americans would no longer have to change their clocks twice a year. But the bill still needs approval from the House, and the signature of President Joe Biden, to become law. I'd love all-year DST but, as a teacher, I know that means millions of kids walking to school in the dark, AM rush hours or waiting or in the dark for schoolbuses in the morning during the Winter. ChrisL Posted March 16, 2022 Share #2 Posted March 16, 2022 Yeah 12 String beat you to it. Not sure how I feel about it though. My car, one watch, cell phone & cable boxes (no clocks) all change automatically. I just have to change the microwave & two watches.
