Popular Post Allen ★ Posted March 16, 2022 Popular Post Share #1 Posted March 16, 2022 Printed this on tissue paper. Mounted it so it flys an inch proud of the background. The print is translucent. The gap between the print and background it lets light behind the print and perseveres the translucency. 2

Is there a story behind it that you are aware of or did you just like it?

Is there a story behind it that you are aware of or did you just like it? I shot that in Athens, Ga. No real background, an anonymous street photography image. He caught my attention, I pressed the shutter. The print is more interesting. I stretched a sheet of tissue paper on a wood frame as one would a canvas for painting. I hand coated the tissue with a light sensitive gel (silver emulsion). That gave me a blank piece of photographic tissue paper. On that I printed the image. When I developed it the gel coating shrank as it dried, and the photograph tore itself from the frame I stretched it on. The image is named, February. 2 1
