Popular Post MoseySusan Posted March 17, 2022 Popular Post Share #1 Posted March 17, 2022 The Phoenix kids gave me a bag of glow-in-the-dark pebbles for my birthday. I glued them to a framed board and started filling with small river rock. But then I ran short of fill. I’ll have to finish tomorrow. It’s going to hang on the concrete block wall behind a bistro table in the yard. I’m not sure it will actually glow when it’s outdoors. It has to be really dark. 8
Ralphie ★ Posted March 17, 2022 Share #2 Posted March 17, 2022 After we visited Phoenix decades ago, my wife painted a desert dog on our bathroom wall. For some reason she painted over it later. I miss it!
MoseySusan Posted March 17, 2022 Author Share #3 Posted March 17, 2022 One say something nice? I see. The Cafe has limited joy for glow-in-the-dark pebble art.
Kirby Posted March 17, 2022 Share #4 Posted March 17, 2022 Very cool, and what a clever gift because you have fun doing the activity and have something nice to keep when you are done. 1

It’s a lot of fun, gluing hundreds of small rocks. I can see why people like repetitious handmade arts like knitting.
Kirby Posted March 17, 2022 Share #6 Posted March 17, 2022 When you finish, can we see a picture of it in daylight? I used to do a variety of crafts including quilting and crocheting. I haven't done any in awhile, but it's another thing on my retirement to do list. 1

I was busy working. I like this and especially lime you are putting it out in the garden. I love surprises tucked among plants.

We only have a set a rocks painted to look like Pac Man chasing three ghosts and two stepping stones the grandkids made. I’m going to change that this season. It solved the problem of running out of rocks. But I think it needs some kind of grout. I have to look at the mosaic aisle at Hobby Lobby again. We used polymer sand on a walkway in the back yard. There has to be something like that for smaller scale mosaic.
Kirby Posted March 17, 2022 Share #10 Posted March 17, 2022 Cool, it's pretty whether or not the blue stones glow in the dark. And I like the mix of colors in the other rocks. It will look very nice in the garden.
