petitepedal ★ Posted October 22, 2013 Share #1 Posted October 22, 2013 I was so busy watching the thermometer drop from 68 in the garage to 27 about 2 miles later. My truck was not new fangled with thermometer.

Indy Posted October 22, 2013 Share #5 Posted October 22, 2013 Every time anyone gets behind the wheel, they almost crashed. They key is to keep the almost part in the sentence.

Kzoo Posted October 22, 2013 Share #7 Posted October 22, 2013 You should sue someone. The thermometer company has some liability here. You came "this close" to devastation. I see PTSD written all over this. Someone has to pay!!
Longjohn ★ Posted October 23, 2013 Share #8 Posted October 23, 2013 Every time anyone gets behind the wheel, they almost crashed. They key is to keep the almost part in the sentence. Now you tell me. So many times on my way to or home from work I almost hit a wild animal that darted across the road in front of me. I figured it would always be almost hit. I should have considered the almost hits as a warning that it was time to change my tactics. Deers and bears are evil. Even worse than running.
