One night, the tuner gods gifted it an “upgrade”. Dunno what top end is, but 137 mph is a whole lotta mv^2.

We have a couple of guys running +200k. We also have had upwards of 100% transmission failures between 50k-150k. It seems to be correlated to towing and bed-loads. Mine hasn’t failed yet but several are on their third tranny.

From what I hear, the Allison used in the 2500 & up is a much better transmission. 50K is not a lot of miles.

I think we’re up to about 5-6

donkpow Posted April 30, 2022 Share #14 Posted April 30, 2022 I think you should watch the road and not the odometer. Thank you.
Bikeguy Posted April 30, 2022 Share #15 Posted April 30, 2022 This picture reminded me... of my 93 Dodge Intrepid. If I recall correctly, the Intrepid's cruise control had a maximum speed of 85 mph. That was a problem for me... I would need to use the gas pedal to go faster than 85. I drove that car for 251K.
