I know a couple guys who got over 200k. IIRC uncle got around 260k on a 1989 Sierra.

We have a couple of guys running +200k. We also have had upwards of 100% transmission failures between 50k-150k. It seems to be correlated to towing and bed-loads. Mine hasn’t failed yet but several are on their third tranny.

is it a 1500? From what I hear, the Allison used in the 2500 & up is a much better transmission.  50K is not a lot of miles.

This picture reminded me...    of my 93 Dodge Intrepid.

If I recall correctly, the Intrepid's cruise control had a maximum speed of 85 mph.    That was a problem for me...    I would need to use the gas pedal to go faster than 85.  I drove that car for 251K.
