Wilbur ★ Posted March 24, 2022 Share #1 Posted March 24, 2022 Mine is definitely the Cars. Loved their music but they did not engage the crowd at all. It always just seem like they were there to play a set list and leave.

MickinMD ★ Posted March 24, 2022 Share #3 Posted March 24, 2022 Mine was The Coasters. The performed at a Jaycees Convention in Ocean City, MD back in the 80's. They did Charlie Brown, Yakety Yak, Poison Ivy and a few other songs, then announced that the agent they were dealing with did not get them the cash they were expecting for the gig so, sorry, they were going to cut it short. They walked off the stage!
maddmaxx ★ Posted March 24, 2022 Share #4 Posted March 24, 2022 Black Sabbath at the VA Beach Dome. This was not because I don't like the band, but I got to see very little of the show as everyone was standing on top of chairs and each other to get a better view.

ChrisL Posted March 24, 2022 Share #6 Posted March 24, 2022 The Go Go’s I think the summer of 83 or maybe 84. Lethargic on stage, sounded terrible, played like crap and looked like all of them were stoned. Worst concert I ever saw & people boo’d them during the concert. IIRC they broke up shortly after. I saw English Beat during the local fair a few years back and Dave Wakeling had no voice. He gave it a solid effort so I give him that but sounded horrible. His partner Ranking Roger died shortly after so I don’t regret going but Dave probably should have rested his voice that night. 1
Ralphie ★ Posted March 24, 2022 Share #7 Posted March 24, 2022 Franz Ferdinand because I am sure I lost a lot of hearing they were so {{#^* loud! The concert was fine other than that. It was worse because my daughters and I were right up front.
JerrySTL ★ Posted March 24, 2022 Share #8 Posted March 24, 2022 Kenny Rogers. My wife was a big fan. His concerts got worse and worse. The last one only lasted 48 minutes and he messed around with the songs. That was about 3 years before he died.
groupw Posted March 24, 2022 Share #9 Posted March 24, 2022 Foreigner on the 4 tour. We drove 150 miles in miserable weather. WoW and I were dating. She didn’t feel great but still wanted to go. She fell asleep during the concert. They played ok, but we’re on auto pilot.
