I spent the whole day with Nancy after posting a tribute to my wife on Facebook early this morning. It would have been a hard day without her. After school let out Hannah pretty much took all my time. We took Itsaso to basketball practice and hung out in the cafeteria until it was over. 3 1

Popular Post Parr8hed Posted March 30, 2022 Popular Post Share #3 Posted March 30, 2022 I was really worried about you, and yet you seem to have thrived. It's a really big deal making it through one of the toughest things that any of us will ever have to do and coming out all of the better for it. Good on you man. 8 2
Popular Post smudge ★ Posted March 30, 2022 Popular Post Share #4 Posted March 30, 2022 You have proven to be an amazingly strong yet gentle giant. Many people would have crumbled with all you've been through in the past couple of years. We all love you and are glad to know you are doing well. ❤️ 5
Popular Post Airehead Posted March 30, 2022 Popular Post Share #5 Posted March 30, 2022 I thought of you all day. You were blessed with such a wonderful love in your wife. I think also blessed to care for her at home with plenty of love and time to talk before she passed. As @Parr8hed said you did the toughest thing well and have thrived. The next chapter will hopefully be just as special. 4

Dottleshead ★ Posted March 30, 2022 Share #12 Posted March 30, 2022 All things considering John, you're doing very well. This thing called life is a very short, ephemeral experience and I think your former wife would approve that you are not alone to go through it. 1
12string Posted March 30, 2022 Share #13 Posted March 30, 2022 Wow, a year already! You've done well, that speaks a lot for your marriage. I've seen studies showing a direct correlation between a the level of happiness of a widower's marriage to their desire to do it again. 1
