maddmaxx ★ Posted April 3, 2022 Share #1 Posted April 3, 2022 I've seen no reviews and I have no idea if I'm wasting my time. It's the saturday night release on HBO.

I read one review and it wasn't positive. It's on my watch list. I'm a big Agatha Christie fan and enjoyed the recent Murder on the Orient Express. However I think that David Suchet is the definitive Hercule Poirot.

maddmaxx ★ Posted April 3, 2022 Author Share #5 Posted April 3, 2022 IMO the filmography was wonderful with great scenery and some good actors but the movie ended up putting me to sleep.
donkpow Posted April 3, 2022 Share #6 Posted April 3, 2022 I watched it. Kenneth Branagh produced and directed it. This is not his first foray into the genre. It looks to me like he wants to give a broader definition to Poirot. A third film with him as Poirot is in the pipeline. Just look at that mustache.
Wilbur ★ Posted April 3, 2022 Share #7 Posted April 3, 2022 I watched Good Will Hunting last night on Netflix. I had never seen it. I enjoyed it but it had some holes in the storyline.

smudge ★ Posted April 3, 2022 Share #10 Posted April 3, 2022 I want to see this movie. I finally watched Jaws in its entirety a few weeks ago. I waited a few decades too long. 2 1
MickinMD ★ Posted April 3, 2022 Share #11 Posted April 3, 2022 The 2022 version has a poor rating of 6.4/10 on IMDb. Maybe they should have redone Jewel of the Nile.

I’m not convinced that mustache comes from the area around those scars.

goldendesign Posted April 4, 2022 Share #17 Posted April 4, 2022 We were between Death on the Nile and Ride the Eagle, both on Hulu right now. We chose Ride the Eagle. Less involved movie we thought since it was late and we were tired. Made it till about 15 mins left. We will finish tonight. It was good.

At far as I saw, he didn't wear his beard in such an ornate fashion. If my recollection is true, he braided it on occasion. It would be a serious time suck to wear a beard like that every day.
