I know of some Dorises.  My Mom worked with a couple but I don't know anyone my age or younger named Doris that I can think of.

I sometimes think it is sad that names go out of style.  When I was in school, it seemed like half the girls were named Linda, Susan, Anne or Karen.  I always liked those names.  Nowadays, it seems no one names their baby girl Linda.   :(

Doris Day was a generation or two before my time. But as a young lad I crushed on Susan Dey....

That clip made me think of cheese.

Do you know any women named Doris?  If so, how do you celebrate?  What do you do on Doris Day?

I had two cousins, brothers, who both married women named Doris.  They divorced long ago and both brothers are deceased, so I don't celebrate Doris Day.

I do like the fact that Doris Day did a singing tour with the singer many consider the greatest pop singer of all-time, Edith Piaf.
