Old man shoes

Yesterday I was buying a pair of those 1/2 tennis shoe 1/2 hiking boot hybrids, and these were on sale so I got them too. Machine washable, memory foam insoles, breathable. 
 

Perfect summer shoes, or did I just unknowingly buy me a pair of old man slippers?

I have a few pairs of Sketchers, similar to yours. Love them. I call them my house shoes, but sometimes I'll forget and wear them when I go out too. And yeah, my kids call them old man shoes. Whatever.

House shoes are the old ones that are starting to wear out.  Going out shoes are the newer ones.

Kinda my plan too. But I've been known to forget and wear them to work. Some of the places I deliver to require steel toes.

Labs have short hair but shed like they are in their own constant ticker tape parade.

I’m wearing my brown leather Sketchers slip ons. Who am I kidding, I’m old and so am wearing my grampa shoes!  

No way I would have worn these earlier in my career!  But damn they are comfy!

I've got a pair of sneakers where each one has two velcro straps instead of laces.  It won't hold it real tight, but very comfortable for easy walking like going to the grocery store.  I won't wear them for long walks with the dog, mowing the grass etc., though.

When not in my braces and boots, I wear a pair of New Balance sneekers, normally untied. Sometimes wear them to town.
