Wilbur ★ Posted July 3, 2022 Share #3 Posted July 3, 2022 Have not seen one live but the whole mass drone thing is pretty fascinating. I think they will be the personal weapon of the future.
Square Wheels Posted July 3, 2022 Share #4 Posted July 3, 2022 That looks pretty cool. Maybe in combination with real fireworks. I like the loud boom feeling in my chest.

Kirby Posted July 3, 2022 Share #6 Posted July 3, 2022 Not in person, but I loved the drone fireworks of the corgi and purse they did for the Queen's jubilee. 1
shootingstar Posted July 3, 2022 Share #7 Posted July 3, 2022 I've seen something elsewhere on youtube. You know drones are controlled by human beings... I'm not so sure it's a comforting thing above any crowd/humans. Our organization ...has 2-3 largish drones for certain operations. OUr 2-3 staff have been licensed by the federal authorities to operate. Very strict use. I am aware use of the drone above one of roads...requires first CLEARING the road of traffic before flying their drone. We also use it to make airborne surveying measurements of river banks...instead of sending out our surveying team staff in unstable river bank slope areas when ground is saturated with water during flood season. I know 2013, staff had to be tied to a thick rope to keep them from sliding into roiling river. This drone did crash accidentally. I've seen this drone and it is quite large and heavy since I worked for the business unit several years ago. The division was showcasing the drone....on the ground... to us during an annual townhall.
