goldendesign Posted October 25, 2013 Share #4 Posted October 25, 2013 Beautiful. I couldn't find my long gloves and didn't think the 50's would be so cold so I had to cut my ride a wee bit short.
Chopped Liver Posted October 25, 2013 Share #5 Posted October 25, 2013 The pic is indeed very beautiful....snow covered landscapes are very pretty. But I don't like winter! It's freaking cold and dreary for 3 or 4 months!

Square Wheels Posted October 25, 2013 Share #8 Posted October 25, 2013 Wow, I always assumed that far south you'd see lows in the 50's or 60's. When I left my house this morning it was in the mid 30's. Here in Boston it's 42 now.

You gotta go to Miami area to see lows in the 50's and 60's....and even there, it occassionally freezes (not very often mind you). Altanta and surrounding is at the foot of the Appalachians...those mountains form a cold air funnel that brings the colder air down from the NE. Often, we're about the same as NYC.
