JerrySTL ★ Posted October 25, 2013 Share #1 Posted October 25, 2013 The long toe next to the big toe on my right foot. I was rough-housing with Max the doggie and he tripped me up. I kicked a dresser pretty hard barefoot. Now the toe is bruised all the way to the foot and I don't bruise easily. Ouch! I don't think it's broke, but it may be sprained which we all know is even worse. I have a half marathon on Sunday, and might not be able to make it. WoJSTL won't be happy as I'm her coach ("Run DAMMIT!) and she has a bet with a daughter-in-law on who is going to win. Dinner at a fancy restaurant is on the line. I might even have to skip the group ride on Saturday.
Indy Posted October 25, 2013 Share #2 Posted October 25, 2013 Just cut it off and then you don't have to worry about it anymore. Graham never takes me up on that offer either.
Chopped Liver Posted October 25, 2013 Share #3 Posted October 25, 2013 I did something like that once....took 4 months for it to return to its normal color. Man that hurt.
Square Wheels Posted October 25, 2013 Share #4 Posted October 25, 2013 Ouch, I guess that's what happens when you root for the Cards.
smudge ★ Posted October 25, 2013 Share #5 Posted October 25, 2013 Dang!! Hurting a toe before a cycling event isn't all that bad; stiff shoes help support the injury. But a running event?? That's gonna be brutal. Good luck with that.
