I have to drive my stepfather to the hospital tomorrow for a meeting with the case worker and the doctors. Mom wants to check out of the hospital, go to Red Lobster, the Casino and then hospice. Wo46 helped my stepfather for over a hour on phone calls while I was gone. petitepedal ★ Posted August 11, 2022 Share #2 Posted August 11, 2022 I had a different Alzheimer's resident going out for a walk today...had MiniMe sit out on the patio with her while I tracked the husband down..he is a retire physician and I am not sure his elevator goes to all floors either..but he is starting to scope out memory care for her.. We did make it to the casino like she wanted but she was OK with that. Hospice is meeting with her today at her home. I was expecting a quiet ride home from the hospital but you couldn't shut mom up. She was laughing and talking about who's going to get what of her stuff and where can I get some gummies.
