Square Wheels Posted August 12, 2022 Share #1 Posted August 12, 2022 Still working on it, but it has been working. It's bring the posts in with an ancient date. Got to the main Cafe page, then go to the last page and you'll see them. Working on seeing if there's a work around. 1

He's a very low key, but responsive forum boss! KUDOS to @Square Wheels!

I think the dates being posted are the oldest the forum will allow as some of these are much older. I tried contacting Histoy.com, I don't think they will change the feed just for us. It might be time to look for a new one, at least until they get back to me.

MickinMD ★ Posted August 13, 2022 Share #13 Posted August 13, 2022 12000 years ago this year: It is sometimes hard for us to imagine, buying our food from supermarkets, that for more than 99 percent of our existence as humans we were hunters and gatherers, tied to the seasons of plant foods, the movements of game, and the ebb and flow of aquatic resources. Food production, the deliberate cultivation of cereal grasses and edible root plants, is a phenomenon of the last 12,000 years of human existence. - Brian Fagan & Nadia Durrani, People of the Earth, 15th Edition, c.2019. p. 179. In honor of the 12,000th anniversary of farming, I planted a veggie garden this year! Of course, agriculture is hastening a major problem since the world can't sustain this many people for long!
