Square Wheels Posted August 14, 2022 Share #1 Posted August 14, 2022 Whay does @Further's tractor get so many flats? How do you fix one? How much does it cost? So many questions.
Airehead Posted August 14, 2022 Share #2 Posted August 14, 2022 I know getting the small tractor tires back on the rim made Einstein cuss a lot. I think that is part of the reason we got a new tractor. 1

Further Posted August 14, 2022 Share #4 Posted August 14, 2022 It gets so many flats because the tires are worn out They are repaired like a bicycle tire, only much more difficult to get on and off the rim. I have become a lot more proficient at doing this than I ever wanted to. A new tire is about 50.00, but I'm stubborn and don't want to put any more money into a worn out lawn mower, I found a used set of wheels in decent condition for 30.00, but the wheels are different, and I have to swap them. I have used the either trick
Longjohn ★ Posted August 15, 2022 Share #5 Posted August 15, 2022 I have plugged the tubeless tractor tires just like I plug car and truck tires but when I tried to change the back lawn tires to tractor lug tires I couldn’t get them off the rims so I took them to the tire shop where I buy tires and they mounted both tires in five minutes and charged me $7.00
