Wo46 is looking at the front tire and if she notices it pushing she moves her body to transfer more weight on the front wheel. If the rear wheel stays spinning she will transfer her weight back

A friend of mine hit 175mph at Road America on his 1000cc F-1 long bike sidecar. 

In the UK and the Isle of Man they restricted the F-1s to 600cc because the 1000cc sidecars started going over 300kph. They said that it was getting too dangerous

Indeed.  That setup from the 60's gives a new name to crotch rocket.

They did explode on occasion.  It's one of the reasons that rear engine dragsters became popular..............that and having your feet and lower legs alongside the clutch in this picture.

I was at Union Grove's Great Lakes Dragway when a clutch explosion at half track killed several people in the stands. I remember I was standing by the fence at the starting line and watched the parts flying into the stands.
