Shed building experience was a positive physical shock

I had felt easily fatigued after COVID in June and thought building an 8' x 10' shed might shock me out of it.

It worked!  In the past week I walked Jake 2 miles Sat., 2 miles Mon, mowed the lawn Tues, and walked Jake 3 hilly miles today, Thurs.  I'll do another walk with Jake Sat, then some bike riding next week.

I haven't been recovering so fast from exercise and feeling like doing physical work the next day for a long time.  I'm trying to keep up the activity and hoping the continuing weight lost makes that better and better.

I am building a shed tomorrow.  It will take most of the day.  The result will be a good nights sleep and sore back on Saturday.

Yes I did.  Except the cedar shakes for the siding.  Should be here in the morning.

I'm envious you can do it in a day!  I might have gotten 10 days work in 90-100F weather done in a few days at lower temperatures and when I wasn't getting easily fatigued.

My BiL got a shed like mine, an unopened-box return for $20 (I paid $549) a few years ago and never got around to putting it up.

Now, just finishing up chemotherapy to make more certain his cancer cure, my sister wants me to put it up for them, "Since now you know how to do it."

So, when they get back from seeing their son's baby in Arizona in September, I guess I'll be building it.

Hopefully, it won't take as long but I think I have to build the base/floor for it, too.
