In most of the high-income world, only two weeks paid vacation is considered an awful thing, as it is in the cited article!

Oh poor poor high income people.  What would they ever do if they had to work 13 on and 1 off with mandatory overtime for the vacation period.  (they will of course pay you for the overtime.)
