Nate Posted October 28, 2013 Share #4 Posted October 28, 2013 I loved the Velvet Underground and the solo stuff he did. and I always loved to listen to Sweet Jane. I had the live albumn of Lou Reed on vinyl where they lead off with Sweet Jane into Heroine. That was one of the classic sides in rock and roll

Square Wheels Posted October 28, 2013 Share #9 Posted October 28, 2013 So, one song? I'm not a big fan of his, and I said "one" of his more popular tunes.
Nate Posted October 28, 2013 Share #10 Posted October 28, 2013 no, there's a bunch of classics from Lou Reed. but bieng "classics" you probably need to be at least 40 to have had this music around in your youth. Maybe even closer to 50. Lou Reed and the Velevet Underground were always hanging around with Andy Warhol in the late 60s, which made them required listening for hipsters in the 70s and early 80s If you were REALLY hip, then you had records of John Cale and Nico and the more obscure Lou Reed affiliates
Olas Nah Posted October 28, 2013 Share #11 Posted October 28, 2013 I think we need a facepalm emoticon. Maybe if you liked that song. I've heard the tune before, maybe 15 years ago in a GAP commercial.
