to comment on what @Bikeguy said.  I've never ate sliders late at night after drinking, but White Castle has a line of people at the drive thru

It's been MANY years... but a bag a sliders for some reason seemed like a good idea the time.

Now that I think about it...   in college... after a few drinks in Milwaukee   we would stop at Real Chili.   The hot chili was always good at 2:00 AM.

I’m my younger days, we’d get a bag of sliders from Little Tavern. White Castle never made it to DC but we had Little Tavern. Those were good.

When I was at Ft Knox KY for training I hit up a White Castles as the guys I was with were jonesing for it.  @Old No. 7 was right, no White Castle in DC…

It was aiight but that was in 1986 and I haven’t had it since…

The problem with this little town is we don't have a Taco Bell or a White Castle or fast food places to choose from. So if I choose to get wobbly drunk and wander home my only choice of snacks would be carrots and rice cakes.

During the winters in Detroit, our tennis team trained at an indoor facility right across from a White Castle. Tues and Thurs late afternoons it was packed to the gills with hungry AF teenagers each getting a dozen or so steamy sliders. Kinda miss the white castle, we don't have them down here except in the freezer aisle of my supermarket.

I never had the frozen ones, but just like anything. Fresh is probably better. I have two White Castles w/in 4 miles of me.

There used to be one in Miami Beach just inland from Indian Creek on the causeway. I ate there many a time.  They seem to have faded away.
