Monk S06E13 The Three Julies, got bicycling right!

I've seen sitcoms where they have bike riders riding against traffic when they clearly don't have to, perpetuating the myth you're suppose to ride that way.

In the Monk episode, a woman on a bicycle named Julie is killed by a hit-and-run driver.

Monk observes that she has reflectors, mirrors, etc. and is obviously safety conscious and asks, "So why was she riding on the wrong side of the road?"

The position of her dead body and the bike meant she would have been riding against traffic and that led to realizing she had been moved and that clue eventually led to solving the case.

I get that it’s TV but they also could have checked for post mortem lividity and known the body was moved.

See fake brainiacs on TV annoy you and crap like this on TV annoys me…
