Although no longer employed with the company that sponsors this event I wouldn’t miss it for the world and am volunteering my time supporting the wounded vets being honored.

Once you have experienced this event 1st hand you get it.  If you feel so inclined a donation is much appreciated.

Had a great time at the event.  Saw many friends and vets from previous events.  I also was the personal agent assigned to the talent so that was cool.  

The highlight for me was a honored vet who seemed to be struggling with all of the hoopla.  She was missing her left leg and in a wheelchair and just kinda hid in the corner near where I was posted.  She asked if I could help her take a picture with the talent and I arranged for an autograph & picture.  Once the talent left I really didn’t have much to do so hung out with her and kept her company fetching her beer & food.  Before she boarded her boat she got up out of her chair, hopped up on her foot and gave me a big hug thanking me for keeping her company.

The vets who attend are just so thankful which makes the tired feet & sore back all worth it to me.
