maddmaxx ★ Posted September 26, 2022 Share #1 Posted September 26, 2022 One in each arm. Walgreens was cool. They gave us a $10 Walgreens cash coupon for each of the 4 shots. I had read this morning that only 2% of the country had taken up the offers for the bivalent shots so far.

I got my second booster in May as I had an international trip planned so I believe at this time I’m still fully boosted. I haven’t been paying close attention, is the bivalvent booster new or different than the previous ones?

Different in that it specifically covers BA4 and BA5 which are the current strains that are so very infectious in addition to the base covid. You can get the shot any time after 2 months from the previous booster and it's highly recommended. 1

We were boosted in Dec 21, got COVID just before we were planing a 6 month booster (May), and just got the new booster a couple weeks ago. Hoping this keeps my immune system frisky and at the ready.
