IMO not an accident.  Somebody fucked up, either the driver, or the body

 

If the body ran into the side or rear of the SUV fast enough to kill himself and flip up onto the roof then it was his fault.

All I can say is it happened in Texas.  Damn!  Maybe driving in the dark on bad country roads with lots of pot holes and dust?

This link has a bit more detail.  He knew he hit something, did not know it was a person?  What did he think it was, a deer?  A smaller sasquatch?
