ChrisL Posted September 28, 2022 Share #6 Posted September 28, 2022 Looks like a promotional car to me. An actual patrol vehicle should have a front push bar and some antennae for comms. I’m also thinking a pretty short patrol time before having to refuel. Still pretty bad ass tho.

Not sure I would pull over for a purple car. The black and white leaves very little doubt. Also supposed to be modified and has 1080 horsepower or some such. Here is what the Texas Dept of Public Safety posted on their FB page. Talk about a turnaround! The 1,080 HP Dodge Hellcat went from evading law enforcement in Harris Co. to now catching criminals wherever it roams in Texas. The fast & devilish-looking car was added to the DPS fleet of patrol vehicles after a judge awarded it to the Agency.
maddmaxx ★ Posted September 28, 2022 Share #9 Posted September 28, 2022 Here's hoping no trooper drives it without extensive high speed driving training.

I’m sure they have as pursuit training is pretty standard. I worked for a municipal department and we went through an extensive training course on high speed driving. One of the funnest things I have done too!
